2009 marks the 10th Anniversary of the cartoon show Spongebob Square pants and it seems Skateboard P- Pharrell Williams teamed up with Bape in production of these custom “Spongebob” Bapesta’s. Pharrell recently posted some mysterious pictures of himself wearing these Spongebob Bapestas on his blog. They have a striking resemblance to the 2008 version that? Bathing Ape released. The sneaker sports a sophisticated yellow most likely real crocodile skin theme replacing the previously seen patent leather upper. It has a white midsole, a gum sole, and a picture of SpongeBob’s face by the heel.
Though not confirmed for a release, if these do ever make it into any kind of production, you can bet they’ll be limited. It takes a unique sense of style to pull off these kicks, think you can rock them?
