John Maeda’s mathematically-inclined Reebok designs have shown us how far patterns can go on sneakers.? For his latest effort, Maeda got back to basics and literally took a page from his own book.? The Reebok ERS 5000 Maeda Reduce doesn’t look like a fractal or a chalkboard, but it does immediately catch your eye.? These are done in a shiny metallic silver leather with just a single ‘equation’ on the toe.?
